Every notes app wants something from you first: an email, a password, a workspace, a plan. Most of the time you just want to write down a phone number.
So we made Nlo: a blank page that opens instantly and remembers everything.
How it works#
Open it and type. There's no Save button, because everything saves as you type. Close the tab, restart your computer, come back next week. Your note is right where you left it.
Your notes live in your browser and nowhere else. There's no account and no server, so nobody else can read them, including us.
It also works offline, and your browser can install it as an app.
What's inside#
- Notes: press New for a fresh page. The one you were on is kept, and every note is one click away in the list.
- Find and replace with ⌘F.
- Take it with you: copy everything, download a
.txtfile, or print it. - Make it yours: four fonts (Mono, Serif, Sans and Hand), six text sizes, and light or dark.
- Tabs stay in sync: type in one, and the others keep up.
Why so little?#
Because the fastest way to write something down is a blank page. Every feature we added had to earn its place without getting between you and the cursor.
